LuLaRoe Classic Tee Styled 5 Ways
I want to show you simple ways to dress up a classic LuLa combo! I'm wearing my fave black Classic Tee tucked into one of my fave Cassie skirts. I love black and white, of course, and it makes it so easy to add a little color and subtle prints to mix up the look!
I put these looks together to show you how versatile a basic combo can be. Don't be afraid to utilize a base outfit and then add some color or layers! In the Bay Area, we love our layers - the weather is usually pretty moderate and a light jacket is almost always nearby. This is a great way to get some of that with lighter and heavier pieces and adds a bit of interest!
Look 1: "The Foundation"
I call this look "The Foundation" as it's a great base outfit - perfectly comfy and stylish on it's own. Great for adding to, especially with these neutral colors. I'd wear this on a sunny day running errands when I know I'll be a bit warm. I was known to wear a similar combo to the office with a blazer over it!
Now we've added a gorgeous mustard Lindsay - lightweight and sheer, this is a fun way to add some color and a little bit of a longer sleeve. Lindsays come in all kinds of fabrics, colors, and prints, and are a great way to add some interest!
The Bianka is the girls' version of the Lindsay and the one I'm wearing here is actually a girls size large - and it fits me comfortably. It's also a tad bit shorter with less material in the front. It has a slightly different look to it, and I love the shorter pieces in the front.
Styling Option #2
Want to add some length to your outfit? Adding some length can really help elongate your overall look and give you a bit more coverage.
Look 1: "The Foundation"
You know I love this classic, chic look!
The Foundation with a Joy vest! Most tend to be a bit hesitant to try a Joy, thinking it isn't the look they want to go for. I encourage you to try it anyway. It comes in a variety of fabrics now, and is a fabulous way to add a whole new look to a classic outfit. The Joy vest is not your typical off the rack piece from a department store - it's incredibly unique and each one has it's own vibe. I love the lace Joys for adding some extra texture and elegant on a casual (or fancy!) outfit, and I love the Joys that now come in a bunch of different prints - they all create new lines and dimensions in the outfit you add it to. And try it under a Sarah for a peekaboo layer!
The Foundation with a Sarah cardigan. Adding a Sarah to the foundation outfit is great because it covers your arms and gets you a bit more warmth, without being bulky. Sarahs are typically midweight or lightweight, and create long and lean lines with any outfit. And the prints our designer has come out with are amazing! I'll have to show you some of my floral Sarahs in a post soon!
Don't be afraid of adding on some longer pieces if you are short! Take a look at the length of these pieces. I'm 5'4" on a good day, and the length of each of these doesn't cut me in half while making me look boxy - short girls, you know what I mean!
